Fruits
Apples are the forbidden fruit but are also the fruit of salvation and sweetness in love;

Pomegranates symbolizes the hope of immortality and resurrection, while the hundreds of seeds of the pomegranate found in one fruit were identified with unity and the pomegranate itself with holiness, love and hope as well as fertility, regeneration, passion, and sensuous love. It is also known as the holy apple.

Grapes represented Christ's miracles and abundance, it also symbolizes the blood of Christ. On some tombstones, sometimes bunches of grapes are combined with ears of wheat. This wine and bread combination is intended to represent Holy Communion.

Vegetables

Corn Rebirth, fertility.

A sheaf of wheat on a tombstone is often used to denote someone who has lived a long and fruitful life of more than seventy years. It denotes immortality and resurrection.
